IBC EASY-Runner

Linear ball bearing

IBC EASY-Runner are high quality, precise and very compact linear ball bearings.

In an outer profile rail, a cage-guided inner profile is moved via balls and thus generates the stroke. The balls run backlash-free, as in a rolling bearing, in correspondingly profiled ball tracks in which they roll precisely in a linear fashion over four contact points.

The minimal friction thus ensured allows very low displacement and acceleration forces with high rigidity at the same time. In addition, the four contact points ensure low-noise operation - even at high loads and operating speeds.

The compact design of IBC linear ball bearings favours their use in tight installation spaces. They are available in guide lengths from 130 mm to 1,970 mm for individual requirements.

All versions described below are manufactured in sizes 28H, 35 and 43. Technical characteristics and areas of application: see TELESCOPIC-Runner.

The carriage slider is only moved within the outer profile rail. This means that the slider bar is always shorter than the outer profile rail and cannot be extended. Versions with at least two carriage sliders in a common ball cage or with two carriage sliders  in separate ball cages are also available. Applications include, for example, long elements that need to be guided or two-part bus doors that open from the centre outwards. Due to the large number of variants, no standard programme has been included in the EASY-Runner catalogue (TI-I-7011) for the series with more than one installed carriage slider.
