IBC self-aligning ball bearing

Self-aligning ball bearings are double-row, self-retaining structural systems with spherical outer ring raceways. The inner ring has two running grooves that are similar to those of the deep groove ball bearings. This structure means that self-aligning ball bearings can be adjusted in angle and are suitable for compensating for misalignments. They are designed for medium to high speeds and are able to absorb small and medium axial loads in both directions. Since they are manufactured with a cylindrical or tapered bore, the rolling bearings can be fastened to the shaft with adapter sleeves. The principal series are 12.., 22.. , 13.. , 23.. . Depending on the application, IBC self-aligning ball bearings can have a steel or polyamide cage, or a solid brass cage for special applications. In addition, IBC self-aligning ball bearings are available in the dimensions of the series 22.. and 23.. with seals. When considering the bearings design, it is important to know the inner construction of these bearings corresponds to the relevant narrower series 12.. and 13...
